Terms of Use

Effective 30 August 2026. By using GiftBanana you agree to these terms - they're short and reasonable.

The service

GiftBanana lets you build wishlists by pasting shop links or typing ideas, share them with anyone via a link, and lets visitors quietly reserve gifts. It's provided free, "as is", while in active development - we'll do our best, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted service or that shop details (like prices) are always accurate. Always check the price at the shop before buying.

Your account

• Keep your password safe; you're responsible for activity on your account.
• Don't use GiftBanana for anything unlawful, hateful, or spammy, and don't add content you don't have the right to share. We may suspend accounts that do.
• You can delete your account at any time; that permanently removes your lists and breaks your shared links.

Shops & purchases

Items link out to the retailer's own website. Any purchase is between you and that retailer - GiftBanana isn't the seller and isn't a party to the transaction. Some links earn us a commission (see our affiliate disclosure); this never changes the price you pay.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, GiftBanana isn't liable for indirect losses arising from use of the service - including out-of-stock gifts, price changes, or two people managing to buy the same present anyway.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves; the effective date above will change when we do. Questions: hello@giftbanana.co.
